Beauty is not just a thing; it’s a part of life. Gimme Kisses came alive the minute Layla Grace showed a passion for making all things beautiful. When that desire showed itself, there was no reason to let that divine moment pass. As a single mother, it is important to set good examples, not just for your own children, but for others that may be in the same space as you.
Between school, dance classes, gymnastics and basketball, creating a beauty line with a focus on lip-gloss was out of the ordinary. After reading her new book, The Three Lil’ Pigs Learn About Money by Justin C. Hart, her little wheels began turning and have not seemed to stop. A MUST READ!!

As a determined 6 year-old, she made up her mind to ask for an advance in her allowance… I will let you imagine the look I gave her. However, from that point on, Gimme Kisses was born as of January 17, 2022. She has loved every step of the process, as I try not to show the stress on my face as I am jotting down her ideas.

Hi mommy! You have always taught me to think big and whatever I came up with, I needed to take it to the next level. I understand exactly what that means now. Even though I started this company with your money (thank you & love you), you let me come up with my own ideas. I get to decide on the designs, the colors of the lip gloss and I’m finally on YouTube. I’m just now realizing that I run my own business…I’m in elementary school! I am excited to learn and I know how blessed I am to have you as my mommy.
